The Mayan prophecies did NOT say the world would end...they predicted the end of one age and the beginning of a new age. More media silliness: anything "new agey" or idealistic of metaphysical is SOOO ridiculous, don't you know...those goofy old hippies who just "don't get" that making money and being secure and NORMAL is the meaning of life... I fervently hope that a new age did indeed begin yesterday. We never needed one more.
